Post "Fitting of the Ta 4f photoemission spectrum from pure Tantalum using a Doniach-Sunjic lineshape."

Fitting of the Ta 4f photoemission spectrum for the element (research grade), data were provided by Vincent Crist (The use of the spectrum requires acknowledging XPS library website, https://xpslibrary.com/, the data is copyrighted). The main peak was modeled with a doublet correlated with the D&S line shape, plus two additional doublets, one with the D&S line shape and one with the Gaussian shape. The total background was modeled with a combination of a Tougaard type background and the interchannel coupling with valence band losses background.
