  • Fitting of the Os 4f photoemission spectrum for the element (research grade), data were provided by Vincent Crist (The use of the spectrum requires acknowledging XPS library website, https://xpslibrary.com/, the data is copyrighted). The main peak was modeled with a doublet correlated with the DL line shape, the 5p component was modeled with a doublet with the Gaussian line shape. This line shape best fits the slopes after the CR line shape. The total background was modeled with a combination of a Tougaard type background and the interchannel coupling with valence band losses background.
