  • Fitting of the Re 4f photoemission spectrum for a metallic poly crystalline surface, data were published by Engelhard and Baer. (accession #0056902). The spectrum was fitted employing six Voigt doublets. The branching ratio was forced to be equal to the theoretically expected value (0.7871), which was taken from the Scofield tables. Data were obtained from: Mark Engelhard and Don Baer , "Third Row Transition Metals by X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy", Surface Science Spectra 7, 1-68 (2000) https://doi.org/10.1116/1.1311915
