Post "Fitting of the Bi 4f photoemission spectrum from pure bismuth using a CR III lineshape"

Fitting of the Bi 4f photoemission spectrum for the element (research grade), data were provided by Vincent Crist (The use of the spectrum requires acknowledging XPS library website, https://xpslibrary.com/, the data is copyrighted). The main peak was a double correlated fitted with a Coupled-Resonances type III lineshape, it is capable of fitting the tip of the 3d5/2 branch, unlike a CR type I or a Voigt lineshape. The total background was modeled with a combination of a Tougaard type background and the interchannel coupling with valence band losses background.
