Fitting of the Bi 4f photoemission spectrum from pure bismuth using a Voigt lineshape (Bi 4f forum)
Fitting of the Bi 4f photoemission spectrum for the element (research grade), data were provided by Vincent Crist (The use of the spectrum requires acknowledging XPS library website, https://xpslibrary.com/, the data is copyrighted). The main peak was modeled with a doublet correlated with the Voigt line shape, and a Gaussian doublet was added to resolve the maximum of the 7/2 and 5/2 components. Even with the additional component, it was not possible to resolve the maximum of the components.
