Post "Fitting of the Pt 4f photoemission spectrum from pure Platinum using a Doniach-Sunjic lineshape."

Fitting of the Pt 4f photoemission spectrum for the element (research grade), data were provided by Vincent Crist (The use of the spectrum requires acknowledging XPS library website, https://xpslibrary.com/, the data is copyrighted). The main peak was modeled by a doublet with a D&S line shape, and the second peak with a Gaussian line shape. The fit with this line shape allows the maximum of the 7/2 component and the region between the 7/2 and 5/2 components to be resolved.. The total background was modeled with a combination of a Tougaard type background and the interchannel coupling with valence band losses background.
