Post "Fitting of the Ir 4f photoemission spectrum from pure Iridium using a Double Lorentzian lineshape."

Fitting of the Ir 4f photoemission spectrum for the element (research grade), data were provided by Vincent Crist (The use of the spectrum requires acknowledging XPS library website, https://xpslibrary.com/, the data is copyrighted). The main peak was modeled with a doublet correlated with the DL line shape, and an additional doublet, with the DL line shape. Even so, it was not possible to resolve the maximum of the two components. The total background was modeled with a combination of a Tougaard type background and the interchannel coupling with valence band losses background.
