Post "Fitting of the Ru 3d photoemission spectrum from metallic ruthenium using a Doniach-Sunjic lineshape"

Fitting of the Ru 3d photoemission spectrum for the element (research grade), data were provided by Vincent Crist (The use of the spectrum requires acknowledging XPS library website, https://xpslibrary.com/, the data is copyrighted). The main peak was fitted with a Doniach-Sunjic peak, but it does not reproduce the tip of the 3d5/2 branch and passes over the data in the indicated region. The total background was modeled with a combination of a Tougaard type background and the interchannel coupling with valence band losses background.
